Wiccans: Chloë, Lucky, Attie
[Wiccans' own Warblings and Warnings]

[Wiccans: Chloë, Lucky, Attie]Strong. Strong magick. We three are a circle - the beginning and the end; eternity. Let me start by introducing myself. I'm Chloë, and I'm a Wiccan. I believe in the old ways, the old magick, as given us by Lucky's granny. The three of us are agreed; the old ways are better. We concoct herbal remedies. We spell. And, somehow we will have an impact on the destinies we were given. We three believe that. Others, the other people we see every day, other students, parents, teachers, don't believe. We know we will influence, can influence, our futures by acting, by being aware, by controlling the very circumstances of our lives.
But this is a secret. Known only to the three. Blessed be.
I'm Lucky. When people question the name, I say, 'It's not lucky, it's life.' This is going to be a great Prom year - believe me, I can see into the future! Medieval costumes should be big this year; follow our lead.

Laced bustiers, long skirts, and long flared sleeves. The material? Linen or hemp. Let me weave you a tale. We've seen the same old line; one generation out, a new one in. It's been happening throughout the ages - and nothing new under the sun. But medieval times - wow - a blossoming, a magickal time, an elegance (for the rich, anyway), a healthy respect for the occult, a primal link with the Mother Earth we were born to. Hecate rules, man drools. Let us celebrate! Sun, moon, and stars: this is our world.
Let us give thanks; let's dance.
Speaking of dance, we are all taking lessons. Prom night will not take us by surprise. When dawn 'dawns' we'll still be gyrating under the morning stars. And little Rhonda has also been taking dance lessons. She's very sincere. We may be taking her under our wing, one day. One of her aunts is fascinated by the ouija board, and we have reason to believe Rhonda has participated in this rite. We shall follow her career with interest!
Another thing no-one knows. We've done a Wiccan ritual involving Lance. To the victor go the spoils!
I'm Attie. Funnily and spookily enough, we did the play, Macbeth, in October, and we recognised ourselves immediately. The three wyrd, fate-ridden sisters. They are so us! Aside from cauldron cookery, we've consulted 'spirits,' found a crystal ball for scrying in an antique shop, and we frequent an herbal store we trust. I can reveal no more, but this Prom night is going to sizzle!
